  • Cougars sweep Huskies, but playoff fate remains uncertain

    SASKATOON – The 2018-19 Canada West regular season came to an end for a University of Saskatchewan Huskies women's volleyball team that finished just outside the playoffs after a 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 27-25) loss to the Mount Royal Cougars inside the PAC on February 16.

    CALGARY – The Cougars came out swinging on the second night of a two-day match up against the Spartans. Although they were tenacious they were unable to keep up with the Spartans quick paced play. The Spartans swept the match in three sets. The final scores were, 25-13, 25-21 and 25-18.
