They also showed that they have a lot of work to do after taking it right back on Saturday, falling 6-2 to the same Huskies. Mount Royal has a favourable schedule heading into the holiday break and will need to take advantage of the opponents below them in the standings.

The Cougars received votes last week but were left out of the CIS Top Ten, until they laid down two statement victories over Manitoba. The decisive victories gave the CIS office no choice but to slot in with the nation’s best.

This position is ideal for a student interested in becoming a hockey equipment manager, and is a great opportunity to learn hands on what is takes to manage a hockey club.
